She had started working at Akbank Galata branch after she graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Marmara University. After working for 3.5 years in Akbank, she decided to look after her children and suspended her career for a while. She received her teaching certificate from Istanbul University after her daughter graduated from primary school. She worked as a computer teacher between 1993 and 2007.

She has been working on areas such as marketing, research, domestic and foreign markets and brands at Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi since 2007. Turkish Coffee which has a very big cultural treasure behind is not only her occupation but also her biggest hobby. She is especially interested in social media and e-commerce. She is the Member of following associations and foundations: Turkish Coffee Culture and Research Association, Youth Re-autonomy Foundation of Turkey, EDMER – Ethic Values Center, Brand Council, Istanbul High Trade and Marmara University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Alumni Association and Erenköy High School Alumni Association.
