Associate Prof. Göknur Akçadağ, a mentor of the Turkish Coffee Truck initiative since 2011, graduated from Ankara University, Department of History. She completed his master's and doctoral degrees in the same field. She also completed a postdoctoral degree in Middle East Technical University and The State University of New York - Binghamton Univ. (SUNY), the Fernand Braudel Center (2007-2008). She worked at Inonu University and Yıldız Technical University, Human and Social Sciences Department. Between 2011-2018, she worked as a Head of Research and Development and Project and External Relations Department at the General Directorate of the Status of Women. She is the representative of Turkey in Gender Equality Commission, the European Council and is the national focal point. She is currently the Head of History Department at Nişantaşı University and actively conducting gender and woman studies.
